So I started a blog on the hotmail editor, and I decided that I didn't really like it all that much. So, with the referal of a friend I got myself a gmail account and fired this up. To those of you that might come and check this out, welcome. Drop a line, say hi, and I'll do my best to keep you all informed of what's going on in my life, as interesting (or lack there-of) it is.
As some of you may or may not know, I am currently living in Coquitlam. That ends soon as I am departing in a little over two months to my old stomping grounds of Hudson's Hope. "Why?" might some of you ask... Only work could get me to go back there. It'll be good though. BC Hydro is putting me up in some fancy digs, or so I have been told, and my cost of living is going to be dirt cheap. Not so bad. This means that I'll be able to put aside some money and hopefully buy a place within the next year or so, depending on where my next rotation with the company is.
I've also come to the conclusion that to live up in Hudson's Hope I am going to need a new vehicle. A 4x4 would obviously be the best option, but budget wise, it just doesn't make a whole lot of sense. So to that end, I have begun the task of locating a new car. Front wheel drive of course for when the snow does come. At any rate, I have decided that car salesmen are scum. As a friend put it, "Not even thier wives like them." I think they are of the opinion that people won't actually shop around, and will just sign the first piece of paper that gets shoved in front of them. (Thanks bro) Basically by just simply making some phone calls, I managed to save myself 1500 without even haggling. I still have more shopping to do and I haven't even really begun to haggle yet.
Also, I will be buying a camera at some point in time soon so that I can share with you all the joys that is my life. (A little sarcasm there).
